This color came out more of a medium brown my natural color is medium brown however my hair had reddish tones from the more harsh coloring kit that i used 6 weeks before. The ash makes it browns and blondes the cool colors rather than the garish reds i sometimes get from other products. I am 56 and partly gray now but i was a light brunette.
